ESK started in 2003, and is now a choir of around 40 students of various nationalities and backgrounds. We rehearse every Wednesday evening in ‘t Fundament (part of theatre ‘t Kapelletje), near Rotterdam Central station. We sing modern songs with the help of our conductor is Robert Verheul. We perform multiple times a year, sometimes at events or in collaboration with other choirs, and end the academic year with our summer concert.

Our board currently consists of Jente, Sara, Kerry, Meike, and Nicole. Besides the board, we have several committees: the Music Committee (MuCo), Podium Committee (PoCo), Activities Committee (AcCo), and Concert Committee (CoCo).

Do you like to sing and would you like to come and see our choir some time? Please feel free to contact us!

Would you like to join an open rehearsal? Sign up is open in September & January – check the website around that time, or follow us on Instagram for any updates.

Singing experience or being able to read notes is not required. You can sing with us until three years after you graduate, and students who do not study at Erasmus University are also welcome to join the choir.
